OSCam EMU is the recommended softcam for CCcam in 2025. The easiest way to install the latest version on any Enigma2 or Dreambox receiver is a single command directly from GitHub โ no manual downloads, no package hunting.
What Is OSCam EMU?
OSCam EMU is a fork of OSCam that adds built-in EMU support alongside full CCcam client capabilities. It works on every Enigma2 receiver โ VU+, Zgemma, Octagon, GigaBlue, Dreambox and more โ and integrates directly with the softcam manager on OpenATV, OpenPLi and DreamOS. Latest builds are maintained on the prof-abdo/OsCam_EMU GitHub repository.
Install OSCam EMU โ One Command
Connect to your receiver via SSH, then run:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/prof-abdo/OsCam_EMU/main/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh
That's it. The installer script detects your receiver type automatically, downloads the correct package and installs everything needed. No other commands required.
After Installation
- Press Menu on your remote
- Go to Setup โ System โ Softcam (or Softcam Manager)
- Select OSCam EMU and enable Autostart
You can verify OSCam is running by opening the web interface in a browser:

Troubleshooting
- wget fails: check your receiver's internet connection โ run

- Reader not connecting: verify your CCcam credentials in
/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server
